DESIGN ENGINEER - BLADE & THERMODYNAMICS - BSME and 7+ years experience with steam turbine thermal cycle calculations or similar detailed work with heat balance calculations. 7+ years experience in steam turbine engineering or field service. Experience in component design and performance. Some construction (field) experience preferred. Some control exposure and electrical understanding necessary. Knowledge of machine controls. Will be responsible for the modeling, testing,  and analysis of steam turbine and turbine cycle thermal performance including power output, heat rate and efficiency of operating steam turbines in client's US fleet. Perform calculations, analysis, and studies to support repairs, modifications and upgrades; identify and quantify power and efficiency losses; identify turbine repair needs; monitor and trend the performance of turbines participating in a performance monitoring program; and other related tasks. The position requires a detailed knowledge of power plant thermodynamics and calculation and testing methods and procedures (ASME PTC 6, PTC6.1....). Perform steam path audits and inspections. The engineer is the blading design expert and supports all activities related with replacement of client in kind blading. ELECTRICAL ENGINEER - BSEE degree, current PE desired. 5 to 10 years relevant experience, preferable for large power generation plants (simple cycle, co-gen, etc.). Photovoltaic power and wind power project experience a plus as well as other industrial experience such as refineries. AutoCAD, REVIT, ABS experience desired. Client and business development skills a plus. Spanish language proficiency desired.  Valid Passport. Must be able to fully design electrical systems for power generation plants and industrial projects. Designs will include primary and secondary power distribution, as well as lighting and specialty systems. Client looks for quality professionals with a high degree of skill and integrity. Solid, stable work experience is a must! Assignments will be varied and require ability to make independent decisions on engineering problems and methods, define and articulate the best solution (s) for the client. Will be able to manage client relationships and multiple projects, estimate manpower needs and manage project budget. Project engineering, hands-on design and CAD experience required, as this is still a very strong technical role. This position is office-based, however, some travel (including international) is required. Minnesota

FLEET MANAGEMENT - GROUP LEADER - BS degree in Engineering or related technical field.  10+ years experience working in the Power Generation industry in an engineering or related role, such as Field Service Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Applications engineering, Technical project engineering or technical project management. Minimum of 3 years experience in a Supervisor/Management role in a technical function, including resource management; or 5 years Project Management or equivalent related to complex projects (> $10 million, high visibility, complex commercial terms, challenging logistics, multiple functions/locations/suppliers involved). Experience and knowledge in power generation equipment and operations. Working with PDM systems and Design engineering experience required. Experience designing and implementing processes and performing an information management role highly desired. Understanding of reverse engineering and CAD modeling; Data modeling & management highly desired. Will utilize existing processes and IT tools and augment them as needed to create a Fleet Mgt system for GE and WH (oOEM) fleets globally. The system must support the activities described below, be accessible globally, and be flexible to expand capacity & functionality related to the activities. Maintain and manage data related to GE and WH global fleet, including plant and unit information, equipment and part measurements, 3D models, product structures, configurations, operating data, maintenance history and all documentation. Analyze fleet operational and maintenance data to predict service needs, and to identify weaknesses and potential for product improvements & upgrades. Provide information to Product Management to support initiation of new products / service solutions. Support Sales by providing information to Execution Centers, LSCs, Capture & Tender to maximize the fleet performance by application of improvement products. Virginia

GAS TURBINE RECONDITIONING ENGINEER - BS Metallurgical or Manufacturing Engineering OR 10+ years experience. Five or more years experience in gas turbine design, maintenance or repair or manufacture. Specific in-depth knowledge of gas turbine component operational wear patterns and typical material degradation. Solid understanding of repair techniques for cast and welded gas turbine components. Fundamental understanding of component stress created by pressure, temperature and vibration etc. Understanding of machining, fabrication, welding and heat treatment fundamentals. Ability to understand results of metallurgical investigation. Will be the focal point for all parts and process related tasks in connection with reconditioning of gas turbine components. The position includes technical support to internal and external suppliers during the preparation and execution of the reconditioning process. This position also requires the structured collection of component wear experience and the proposal of component improvements to increase useful life as well as streamlining the reconditioning process.  This engineer will support the process development and production activities with design, specification, and ordering of specialized tooling, fixturing and equipment for unique repair applications. MECHANICAL ENGINEER - BSME, PE, and 5 to 10 years experience, preferably with large power generation plants (simple cycle, co-gen, etc.). Other industrial experience such as refineries and petrochemical a plus. Will perform mechanical design tasks for the process and equipment areas of industrial facilities. AutoCAD 2006 and 2010 2D. Valid passport. This position is office-based, however, some travel (including international) is required. Spanish a plus. Minnesota

NDT INSPECTOR - HS Diploma or GED. Three or more years experience in NDT Inspection. Certified ASNT Level II on UT, PT, MT, ET and/or VT. Knowledge of the manufacturing materials tested (Steels, Aluminum, Bronzes, brasses, copper, etc.) and their reactions to certain chemicals such as acids, chlorides and alkalis. Some experience in an assembly shop environment. Perform NDT testing using a variety of procedures - ASME, AWS, ASTM, etc. Monitor performance of welding and stress relief processes to specifications. Coordinate activities and monitor quality of NDT suppliers. Initiate Non-Conformance Report (NCR) to document non-conformance product. Initiate Corrective Action Request (CAR) to document validation of quality system. Maintain test equipment. Virginia

PARTS TRACKING SPECIALIST - High School Diploma or GED. MS Office skills. Gas Turbine knowledge preferred. Will identify, by serial number and part number each noble HGP part for the Gas Turbine. Barcoding, scanning, photographing, each part before (installed parts) and after (removed parts) a “C” inspection. Download scanned data into the PT Excel spreadsheet, sort and verify the data. Working with urgency, yet paying attention to details, perform all tasks associated with Parts Tracking as assigned. Some travel (15-20%) may be required. Virginia

PROJECT ENGINEER - BSME and demonstrated experience in project engineering and management, relevant technologies, and leadership in the assigned project areas for large projects. Skilled in developing, implementing and managing new construction and/or improvement projects. Will support assigned aspects of a Circulating Fluidized Bed Boiler. Provide technical support and management of all Environmental and Non-environmental Permitting required for the facility throughout the project implementation. Must have strong team building skills, effective negotiating skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and ability to resolve technical problems. Virginia

STEAM TURBINE DESIGN ENGINEER - BSME and 5+ years experience in turbine rotating and stationary equipment design, dis-assembly, repair, refurbishment, machining, assembly, NDE, and/or testing methods. OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) experience on GE or Westinghouse steam turbines. 2 years minimum experience with Microsoft Windows, basic engineering programs and CAD software. Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays when necessary, travel up to 30%. Ability to pass pre-employment background check, drug screening and physical. Authorization to work in the U.S. without any further action from client. Responsible for the design, development, and production support of turbine rotating and stationary component repairs and refurbishment for company and other manufacturer's steam turbine equipment. The successful candidate will evaluate equipment condition, develop repair work scopes and repair processes, and prepare technical presentations. Will also be responsible for following repairs engineering projects from the quotation phase, through the design, production, inspection, and final shipment phases of the project. Prepare drawings specifications and other technical documents needed for production and repair projects. Provide technical support to the sales force, workshop, and vendors. STEAM TURBINE PRODUCT MANAGER - BSME and 10+ years experience in the steam turbine business responsible for sales and either product development, engineering, project management, or service and commissioning required. Working knowledge of market analysis strategic planning and marketing methodologies. Experience developing business cases for financial investments. Project management experience involving technical projects with heavy engineering and manufacturing content. Will analyze oOEM fleet and market information and specific customer needs and requirements. Propose/ specify new products and enhancements to existing products that satisfy the customer and are suitable for the broader fleet and market. Develop and implement global product strategies for assigned oOEM Steam Turbine Fleets. Virginia

TECHNICAL FIELD SERVICE MANAGER - BS degree in Engineering discipline and 10+ years working in Power Generation industry in Field Service related to GE or Westinghouse equipment. Minimum of 3 years in a Supervisor/Management role in a technical function, including resource management. Experience in power generation operations.        Experience managing craft labor in Power Generation field service activities; providing technical direction in Power Generation field service activities; developing written procedures. Mechanical and/or electrical commissioning knowledge. Experience working with PDM systems; Structured trouble-shooting; Structure root cause analysis (RCA) required.  Will develop an information system and process to capture, manage, and disseminate information related to field service methodology, including but not limited to open/close procedures, inspection and test (I&T) plans, experience feedback, lessons learned and training. The system must be accessible globally, and be flexible to expand capacity & functionality. Develop open/close procedures, I&T plans and other necessary documents to define the processes for carrying out various field service scopes of work. Support Field Service Operations with analysis and resolution of complex technical situations and problems. Provide technical guidance or advice as needed to other functions and make presentations to customers as needed. Support Field Service tendering process as needed. Virginia
