CIVIL / STRUCTURAL ENGINEER - BS degree and 3-5 years of experience with structural foundation design. Knowledge of advanced techniques and modification and extension of theories, precepts, and practices of the field. Knowledge of various computer applications with the ability to perform engineering calculations. Interpret codes, regulations and practices. Strong oral and written communication skills, including technical writing. Will assist with analysis, design and development of transmission / substation facility additions and modifications. Provide structural analysis and evaluation of transmission line and substation facilities, develop design, material requirements and construction specifications for new and rebuild projects. CONSTRUCTION MANAGER, WIND - BS Degree in Engineering. Minimum 8-10 years construction or project management-related experience in the power industry experience. Experience in the power generation area with at least two years experience in wind or field with similar skill set. Experience to have executed a complete project in this field from NTP throughout warranty. Strong contracts and claim knowledge. Basic financial understandings. Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office. Experience in overall design, testing, and operation of power plants and power plant equipment. Understanding of client engineering, projects, and procurement policies and procedures. Experience with client scheduling tools (Primavera, MS Projects). Familiar with A/E design practices, design bases, and design techniques and ensures compliance with industry-accepted practices. Will have overall technical and commercial responsibility for facility construction and wind farm projects. Texas

CONTROLS COMMISSIONING ENGINEER - BSEE (with concentration in Power preferred) and 3-5 years experience in power plant operations or commissioning. At least 1 year of experience in electrical engineering design. Working knowledge of electrical codes and standards such as IEC, ISA, NEC, IEEE, etc. In depth knowledge of electrical equipment (AVR’s, SFC, synchronizers, protection relays, switchgear, switchyard equipment). operates with minimal instruction. Proficient PC-based skills including word processing, spreadsheets, databases and engineering program applications. German and/or French language skills advantageous but not required. Virginia

ELECTRICAL PROCESS ENGINEER - BS degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering required. Minimum of three years experience in industrial process engineering. Experience in working with costs breakdown structures, process reliability and quality evaluation, and the development of non-conformity corrective action plans and the management of their implementation. Experience working with electrical components, switchgears, transformers, generators, converters, cabling, SCADA Systems, and devices in the wind power industry. Experience in developing, implementing, and performing quality control of technical documentation and specifications for suppliers. Project management experience that includes the basic functions of cost, quality, and schedule control. Experience in dealing with consultants and labs (UL) to ensure compliance with the local standards and certification requirements (NEC, OSHA, ANSI, IEEE, etc.). Virginia

EHS MANAGER - Bachelor's degree in industrial relations, human resource management or in engineering required. Occupational health and Safety certificate required. Minimum of 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in a construction and assembly plant, with significant accomplishments in EHS. Certified Safety Professional or Certified Industrial Hygienist preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of all Safety and health statutes including construction, plant Safety, general industry, as well as industry standards, both foreign and domestic. Experience in developing Safety training and compliance programs, including the ability to conduct and facilitate training as required. Experience preparing required EHS reports and demonstrated record driving safety performance improvements.  Knowledge of industrial hygiene practices and controls to include ergonomics. Conduct regular inspections of the sites and work methods in order to ensure that the Health and Safety rules are respected, that protective equipment is properly used, and that all the devices necessary for Safety are in place and in a good functional state at the assembly sites. GENERATOR PRODUCT MANAGER - BS degree in either Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Marine Engineering or equivalent combination of education and work experience. 3+ years of experience in turbine and generator rotating and stationary equipment dis-assembly, repair, refurbishment, testing, assembly, NDE, and scheduling methods is required. 3+ years of experience in field service engineering highly desirable! Familiarity with client OEM, GE, and Seimens Westinghouse equipment required. Knowledge of design, function and operation of Turbine Generators. Advanced knowledge of dis-assembly, maintenance, inspection, testing, and assembly methods. Support the Generator Services sales effort, either indirectly by providing input to project proposals, or directly through Customer interaction. Support of technical and commercial events such as open houses, symposiums, conferences and exhibitions. Prepare the scope of work and cost estimates for prospective projects for steam turbine and/or generator rotating and stationary components. Virginia

LEAD COMMISSIONING TECHNICIAN -BS degree in Engineering or combination of education and experienced will be considered. Electrical Engineer degree preferred. Three years Experience in wind commissioning or solving electro-mechanical wind-turbines  incidences (Maintenance or Commissioning) required. Power generation experience an advantage. Execute and/or supervise commissioning, operation, maintenance and repair of client ECO class Prototypes and Limited Releases WTG. Troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems on variable speed turbines and manage logistics on site. Virginia

MANAGER, OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE - BS Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred). MBA in Business Administration preferred. 3+ years experience in O&M specific to wind power required. O&M experience in power generation preferred. Demonstrated customer centricity. First hand experience and knowledge of the technical and operational key success factors to ensure optimized Wind farm operations. Extensive knowledge of engineering practices, processes and tasks as applicable to the O&M function. Demonstrated experience in administering contracts, operating agreements, cost accounting, project management and proposal development. Demonstrated ability to predictably manage budget, schedule, site and parts logistics, QA/QC and timely financial reporting. Texas

PLANT SUPPORT CENTER FRONT END ENGINEER - BS Degree in Engineering discipline. Two or more years experience as a Commissioning Engineer for E/F class gas turbines/gas turbine power plants. Solid understanding of all gas turbine components, the auxiliaries systems, controls and instrumentation. Solid understanding of gas turbines process, hardware and operational behavior. MS Office products, Lotus Notes. Handle all databases used in the PSC: Logging Database, ERS, Data Pool, Inspection Report Database. The Plant Support Center (PSC) Front-End Engineer for gas turbines and plant equipment is responsible for providing 1st level technical support as point of contact for company re-commissioning personnel, inspection personnel and external customers.  In accordance with specified procedures and work instructions, the PSC Front-End Engineer will ensure that deviations and non-conformances are indicated and corrective measures are initiated with the support of management. Support will include the analysis, assessment and recommendations for transient and steady state operation; protective events; hardware and software trouble shooting for instrumentation and controls; equipment trouble shooting and re-commissioning support. PRODUCTION OPERATIONS MANAGER - BS degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, production management, or similar equivalent area. 10 or more years experience in production management, engineering, maintenance, material handling and logistics for wind turbine assembly or similar heavy component, low volume assembly operations. Demonstrated knowledge and use of financial control systems in a production environment. Demonstrated leadership in EHS behaviors and meeting aggressive targets. Proven courage to act as role model for EHS. In-depth knowledge of relevant LEAN manufacturing tools and techniques (VSM, 5S, Inventory management and flow) with demonstrated approach to continuous improvement through PDCA approach. Metrics driven approach with past experience in fast-paced and/or start-up environment. Ability to work autonomously in a start-up situation to meet business and plant operational goals. Experience and use of FMEAs, structured problem solving, data analysis, SPC. LEAN manufacturing certified/expert and 6-sigma expert/certified a plus. Texas

TESTING ENGINEER - BS degree in Engineering - Electrical Engineer degree preferred. 3+ years Experience in Testing wind turbines. On-site experience, with capacity to carry out installations and set-up measurement systems. Power generation experience an advantage. Safety as a core competence. Demonstrated customer centricity. Experience with accelerated life testing theory, methodology, and equipment. Experience with systems of measurement (physical variables as mechanical loads, vibrations, noise and electrical phenomena) a plus. Experience with optical systems a plus. To achieve reliability targets on new Prototypes and Limited Releases WTG. Select, procure, design, and build equipment to carry out these tests with oversight from Test & Validation Manager. Support to commissioning, operation, maintenance and repair of client ECO class Prototypes and Limited Releases WTG. WIND TECHNICIAN - High school education or equivalent required, technical Associates degree preferred. Two years Experience in wind turbines. On-site experience, with capacity to carry out installations and set-up measurement systems. Computer and software skills for data collection and reporting preferred. Ability to climb ladders to heights of 100 meters several times a day and work in confined spaces with diverse environmental conditions. Experience with optical systems a plus. Support to commissioning, operation, maintenance and repair of client ECO class Prototypes and Limited Releases WTG.
